At Strawberries and Cream, we believe that tennis is more than just a game, it is a canvas for self-expression. Our journey began with a vision to create tennis overgrips and dampeners that inspire everyday tennis players to elevate their unique style with comfort and control. All our designs are beautifully created and shipped out from New York City.

Our racket accessories online shop has a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, and in its original packaging. 

To initiate a self-return, please log in with your email address and enter the login code which will be sent to you. Go to your product summary and click request return. Choose the item and reason for return. Click on request return. 

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges
In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at support@strawberriesandcreamny.com with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please note that it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.

Return Shipping

Once your self-return request is approved, a PDF of a return shipping label will appear in your customer account page. Please print it out, affix it to your package, and send it back to us.

You are responsible for paying a $4.95 flat return shipping rate. We will deduct the cost of return shipping from your refund.

1. Remove the transparent protective film.

2. Remove the adhesive sticker from the tapered end of the overgrip. Stick it on the bottom of the tennis racket handle following diagram 1 on the back of the package.

3. Continue to wrap the overgrip around the handle upward while maintaining slight tension on the bottom of the overgrip following diagram 2 on the back of the package.

4. Cut off the excess overgrip and wrap the white Strawberries and Cream finishing tape around the top part of the handle following diagram 3 on the back of the package.

5. Done!

As a general guideline, many players replace their overgrips every 6-10 playing hours or whenever they notice a decrease in tackiness or comfort.

Factors to Consider:

Playing Intensity: If you play frequently or engage in intense matches, you may need to change your overgrip more often to maintain optimal performance.

Weather Conditions: Humidity and heat can impact the lifespan of an overgrip. In humid conditions, overgrips may lose tackiness more quickly.

Personal Comfort: Some players prefer the feel of a fresh overgrip more often, even if the current one is not completely worn.

Court Type: Playing on clay courts may contribute to faster deterioration.

Signs It's Time to Change:

Reduced Tackiness: If your overgrip feels less tacky and you find your grip slipping during play.

Visible Wear: Visible signs of wear, such as fraying or smoothing of the surface.

Discomfort: If you experience discomfort, it might be time for a change.

Remember, there's no one-size-fits-all answer, and it's essential to find a schedule that suits your playing style and preferences. Regularly inspect your overgrip, and don't hesitate to replace it if you notice any signs of wear.
